Young man Ye Shaolong is electrocuted and transported back in time to become a young warlord commander during the Republic of China era, drawn into conflicts among multiple factions. With the assistance of his ninth concubine and Long Qi, he foils conspiracies including the Liu Hu father-son rebellion, Shen Wanfu's kidnapping plot, and Liang Yufeng's port seizure, while developing feelings for Huo Yiman.
